    February 4, 2010: Peter Brown and Geoff Garver presented the ideas of the book to high school and CEGEP students at the McGill Excellence in Research Exposition at Redpath Hall in Montreal, Quebec.

    December 10-11, 2009: Robert Howell, with Dr. Wayne Cartwright of Sustainable Aotearoa New Zealand (SANZ), presented a paper on the topic of "Strong Sustainability for New Zealand: Principles and Scenarios" at the Ethical Foundations of Public Policy conference at the University of Wellington, New Zealand.     December 2-4, 2009: Geoff Garver presented a paper at the 2009 Amsterdam Conference on the Human Dimensions of Global Environmental Change. The title of the conference was "Earth System Governance: People, Places, and the Planet".

    October 21, 2009, 4 pm: Peter Brown gave a talk on "Economics Without Ecocide" at Vanier College, Montreal, Quebec.

    October 17, 2009, 1:45 pm Central Time: Peter Brown gave the keynote address at the Columbia, Missouri Sustainable Living Fair, by remote video transmission.

    October 15-16, 2009: Peter Brown and Keith Helmuth gave a joint presentation at St. Thomas University's symposium "Environmental Activism in a Time of Climate Change" in Fredericton, New Brunswick. This event was sponsored by the Conservation Council of New Brunswick.

    August 31, 2009: Peter Brown delivered the keynote address at the 2009 Inter Agency Committee meeting of the UN Decade of Education for Sustainable Development (DESD 2005-2014) in Nairobi, Kenya. The meeting was jointly hosted by UNEP and UN-HABITAT.

    August 24, 2009, 7 pm: Robert Howell gave a presentation on Right Relationship at the Mt. Eden Road Meeting House in Auckland, New Zealand.
